Traditional Hummus

- Chickpeas boiled- 4 cups
- Organic extra virgin Olive Oil- 2 cups
- Tahini- 1 cup
- Garlic- 4 tsp
- Lemon Juice- 4 tbsp
- Water- 1 cup
- Salt- to taste
- Paprika or toasted sesame seeds for garnish.
Method:
- Put all ingredients except Tahini in a blender with 1 cup oil. Once it’s all a big lump add in tahini and remaining 1 cup oil and pulse till it reaches the right texture.
- When serving, sprinkle paprika powder or sesame seeds and drizzle some organic extra virgin olive oil as well.
- Serve with carrot and cucumber sticks, or vegetable chips, or gluten free lavash!
